From Matter to Spirit
Metamorphosis explores transformation as an inner movement — a gradual shift from the heavier, more material dimensions of experience toward a subtler awareness of the spiritual field within.
The composition can be read as a progression of energy. The lower forms suggest the density and complexity of matter: the physical world, accumulated experience, and the patterns through which we first understand ourselves. As the forms rise, they become a visual metaphor for refinement — energy changing in quality as awareness moves beyond the purely material.
At the heart of this transformation is the heart itself. Rather than suggesting that the physical world must be rejected, this creation points toward alignment: matter and spirit brought into a different relationship through the heart. The heart becomes the meeting place where our earthly experience can be transformed into compassion, awareness, connection, and a deeper sense of spiritual presence.
